Guest Speaker

Dec 5th (Thursday),
Sen. Ron Wyden (D), Oregon will be paying us a visit during 3rd period as Smith and Neil's classes combine.  At this point, I have not system in place to get more students in there from other classes, but I'll try.  Be chatting with your friends and family over turkey and leftovers about things you'd like to ask.

Possible Areas of interest might include getting elected, party dynamics, local state and national issues.  Go to his web page, find out what committees he's on, and look up issues related to that.

We'll ALL do some research and question design Monday/Tuesday, with an opportunity to come up with cool thoughtful questions that elicit developed response.

Should be cool-- Sadly, I don't know any way to make it an all AP thing-- but I'll see if there is a way to extend the group size.
